    Lillian H. Drury, 95, Bedford, Massachusetts

    Lillian H. (Hammond) Drury, 95, of Bedford, Massachusetts, formerly a longtime resident of Lexington, Massachusetts, wife of the late Herbert R. Drury, died July 26 in Massachusetts.

    She was employed as a technical secretary at Kennecott Copper, Raytheon, and Stone & Webster. She was a deaconess at Hancock Church, as well as an avid reader and bridge player. She also enjoyed quilting, kayaking, swimming, hiking, and gardening, and volunteered for many organizations.

    She is survived by her daughters Louise Maher and her husband Michael of Branford, and Susan Stewart of Merrimack, New Hampshire; her brother Russell Hammond of Alexandria, Virginia; her grandchildren Travis, Kim, and Kelly; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

    A memorial service was celebrated July 31 at Hancock Church, Lexington, Massachusetts, with private interment in Westview Cemetery, Lexington. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army, 407 Shawmut Ave., Boston, MA 02118. The Douglass Funeral Home, Lexington, was in charge of arrangements.
