    Elizabeth Kelsey Farrell, 74, Westbrook

    Elizabeth Kelsey Farrell, 74, of Westbrook, loving wife of the late Stephen Worthington Farrell, died Aug. 10 at Middlesex Hospital after a short illness. She was born July 9, 1939 to William Falls Kelsey and Ruth Pendleton Kelsey.

    She lived in Westbrook for her entire life, and retired from the Westbrook school system, where she worked for several years in the cafeteria. Elizabeth’s greatest love was her family, and she cherished her time spent with siblings, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

    She is survived by two children, Marcia Munson and her husband David of Westbrook and Charles Farrell and his wife Dawne of Westbrook; four grandchildren, Ellie and Matthew Munson and Stephen and Jack Ferrell; a brother, William Kelsey and his wife Barbara; a sister, Susan Gualazzi; and her dear friends Kathleen and Floyd Pfaff. She was predeceased by her siblings Ida Carr, Eva Leitner, Elsie Stevenson, Lawrence Kelsey, Charles Kelsey, Russell Kelsey, and Ruth Savage.

    Her memorial service was held Aug. 16 at Grace Episcopal Church in Old Saybrook, with burial in Cypress Cemetery, Westbrook.
