Frank R. Myers, 64, of Belle Chasse, Louisiana and Niceville, Florida, formerly of East Haven, died peacefully Oct. 2 in his sleep. He was born March 13, 1949 in East Haven to the late Howard and Frances (Bacon) Myers.

He graduated from East Haven High School in 1967 and was a master builder his entire life. Frank was a proud United States Army Vietnam veteran. He was a kind, loving, gentle soul. In his retirement, he loved spending time with his family, fishing, metal detecting and reading woodworking magazines. Frank was loved and cherished by his entire family.

He is survived by his two sons, Jayson and his wife Heather Myers of Belle Chasse, Louisiana and Benjamin and his wife Rebecca Myers of Niceville, Florida; his former wife Carol D. Myers of Laurel Hill, Florida; sisters Gail and her husband Fred Preller of Reno, Nevada, Donna and her husband Sal Scalia of San Antonio, Texas, and Holly and her husband David Magee of Madison; his brother Howard Myers of East Haven; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Donna and Andy Perrone of East Haven; his grandchildren Jessica, Dorian, Frankie, Olin, Mollee, Addalyn and Crosby; and step-grandchildren Lynn Johnston and Eugene, Justin and Bradley James. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Services will be held privately.
