Ann M. McCurry, 87, of Guilford, beloved wife of the late John M. McCurry Sr, died peacefully Oct. 15. Ann was born Sept. 20, 1926 in New Haven to the late John Ciarleglio and Jennie Stella Ciarleglio of Milford. She graduated from Commercial High School and worked as an administrative assistant, including several years for Blue Cross-Blue Shield. Ann lived for most of her life in Guilford.

Ann’s family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Village Green of Wallingford and Connecticut Hospice for their compassionate care of their mother.

She is survived by her daughter Lauren Nash and her husband Robert of Branford; her son John M. McCurry, Jr., and his wife Sarah of New York; two beloved granddaughters, Becca and Riley; her sister Barbara Hemming of Guilford; her brother John Ciarleglio and his wife Nancy Ciarleglio of West Haven; and her nieces Jane Ciarleglio, Carol Mickewicz and Christine Capiello. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother-in-law Paul Hemming.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, Oct. 21 in St. George Church, 33 Whitfield St, Guilford, followed by burial in St. George Cemetery, Hubbard Rd, Guilford. Friends may call Sunday, Oct. 20 from 4 -7 p.m. at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford.
