Shirley Paule, 79, of New Haven, wife of the late Charles Paule, died Oct. 20 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was born May 10, 1934 in New Haven to Harvey and Esther (Doan) Andrews.

Shirley is survived by four loving daughters, Adrea Polchies and her husband Barry of East Haven, Cheryl Rosa and her husband Timothy of New Haven, Jeanne Mansfield of New Haven, and Lauren Paule of New Haven; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a sister, Adrea Sturges; and a daughter-in-law, Charlotte (Bogart) Andrews of New Haven. She was predeceased by her son Jeffery Andrews Sr.; great- granddaughter Brooklyn Aurora Hall; brother Lester Andrews; and a sister, Dorothy Ellis.

Family will receive friends Thursday, Oct. 24 from 4-7 p.m. at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral service will follow visiting hours, burial will be private.
