Cheryl Ann Capece, 49, Niantic

Cheryl Ann Capece, 49, of Niantic, died Oct. 27 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford, surrounded by family. She was born July 1, 1964 in Northampton, Massachusetts to Dorothy (Sanborn) Capece and the late Joseph Capece. She was raised in Clinton, and found peace at the beach, and joy in spending time with family.

Cheryl is survived by her mother; two brothers, David Capece of Clinton and John Capece of Hamden; two nephews, Antonio and Matthew Capece; and one niece, Cecilia Capece.

Her funeral will be held Friday, Nov. 1 at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Clinton. Swan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
