Francis N. Millet, Jr., 32, of Killingly, died Nov. 8. He was born in New Haven to Joanne W. Cassano and the late Francis N. Millet, Sr. He attended Killingly High School.

Francis was a gracious human being, loving, hard-working, caring, and he loved living life on the edge. He was a skilled handyman, framer/carpenter, and mechanic. If family or friends ever needed anything he was always the first to help, and he always cheered everyone up when they were having a bad day. Francis loved cooking, hiking, trips to the beach, long rides on his motorcycle, snowboarding, bonfires, music, driving fast, getting and giving tattoos, and hanging out with his friends and family.

He is survived by his mother Joanne of Killingly; his siblings Calista, Andrew, and Sierra Cassano; his first nephew Conner Golbranson of Killingly; his grandfather Gunlög J. Millet of Old Saybrook; and his companion Jennifer McDonough and her family. He was predeceased by his grandfather Ralph T. Millet; and his father Francis N. Millet Sr.
