Christopher S. Carney, Sr., Formerly of Clinton
Christopher S. Carney, Sr., died suddenly Dec. 21. After retiring to Naples, Florida, he became an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his beloved wife Joan; children Jocelyn and her husband Howard Clapp, Christopher Carney, Jr., and his wife Kristine, and Tara and her husband Mark Loos; grandchildren Christopher III, Roger, Stephanie, Melissa, Leslie, Brian, and Audrey; his brother William; and sisters Barbara and Alice.
A Mass of Catholic burial will be held Thursday, Dec. 26 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Clinton. Memorial donations in his memory can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Swan Funeral Home, Clinton, is in charge of arrangements.
