Marjorie (Maxwell) Zawisza, 91, of Old Saybrook, died Oct. 28 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. She was born April 1, 1922 in Alexander, Maine to the late Mabel and Kingman Maxwell. She was formerly employed as a shift supervisor at Meadowbrook Rest Home. 

She is survived by three sons, Stephen Zawisza and Peter Zawisza, both of Old Saybrook, and Paul Zawisza and his wife Donna of Cape Coral, Florida; two grandchildren, Daniel Zawisza of Cape Coral, Florida and Heather Jenkens and her husband Colin of Tallahassee, Florida; and sister Elizabeth Comeau of Tallahassee, Florida. She was predeceased by four sisters and four brothers.

Three masses will be offered in her memory; Sunday, Jan. 5 at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 1 at 4 p.m., and Sunday, March 9 at 11 a.m., all at St. John Church, Old Saybrook.
