    Nancy Sullivan Shoop, 64, Camdenton, Missouri, formerly of Guilford

    Nancy Sullivan Shoop, 64, of Camdenton, Missouri, formerly of Guilford, beloved partner and soulmate of Bill Herholzer, died Dec. 26. Nancy was born June 1, 1949 in New Haven to the late Thomas Joseph Sullivan and Rita Fenwick Sullivan.

    Nancy was a graduate of Guilford High School where she was a longtime member of the Guilford High School cheerleading squad with many of her close friends. She moved to Missouri in 1969 and lived there until her death. Nancy was an avid scuba diver earlier in her life and made dives all over the world. She graduated from the University of Missouri and then taught at Lincoln University before working for the State of Missouri. She was the loving "mom" to French Bulldogs Biz, Brighton, Millie, and Lambchop; and a Shar Pei, Pleatswoman.

    She is survived by her brother Thomas Sullivan and his wife Diane of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; sister Wendy Wright and her husband Bill of Overton, Texas; and nephews and nieces Joshua Lutz of Missouri, Stephanie Lutz of Tipton, Missouri, Rachel Harned Miranda of Jefferson City, Missouri, Devin Sullivan of Phoenix, Shannon Claussen of North Scituate, Rhode Island, and Dustin Arnold of Longview, Texas. She was predeceased by her loving son Travis Lutz; and her husband, John Dickson.

    A celebration of her life was held for family on Dec. 31 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri. The family is planning another celebration in the spring in Camdenton.
