Elizabeth 'Betty' C. Soars, 88, Madison

Elizabeth “Betty” C. Soars, 88, of Madison, wife of the late H. Marshall Soars, Jr., died Dec. 24 at Madison House. She was born July 23, 1925 in Montclair, New Jersey to Carlton W. and Charlotte (Boyd) Cox.

Betty is survived by her son Robert Lewis Soars of Highland Lakes, New Jersey. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son H. Marshall “Sandy” Soars, II.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 25 at 1 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, Kilton Memorial Chapel, 26 Meetinghouse Lane, Madison. Swan Funeral Home, Madison, is in charge of arrangements. To sign the online guest book visit www.swanfuneralhomemadison.com.
