    Josephine Bradley, 87, East Haven

    Josephine Bradley, 87, of East Haven, passed away Jan. 15 at Apple Rehab Laurel Woods in East Haven. She was born March 19, 1926 in New Haven to Angelo and Maria (DeLuca) Moscato. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard Bradley, Sr.; son Albert Bradley, Sr.; sisters Sue DeLillo, Carmel Ventura, and Rose Hardy; and brothers Dominic Moscato and Michael Moscato. Josephine is survived by daughters Maria Pettola (Richard) of East Haven, and Candace Breault (Leonard) of East Haven; sons Frank Bradley of Waterbury and Richard Bradley (Ann) of Woodstock; ten grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Sylvia Apuzzo of East Haven; a brother, John Moscato of East Haven; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    Josephine owned and operated a Polish market on State Street, Jo Bradley’s Friendly Corner, from 1967 to 1974. She was an avid gardener who had a passion for roses, and also enjoyed cooking. Her forever steeping pot of tea, macaroni and meatballs will be missed but never forgotten.

    Family will receive friends on Monday, Jan. 20 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of a brief service at 12:30 p.m. at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery in North Haven.
