Arthur F. Dolan, 74, of Guilford, beloved husband of Kathleen Makuck Dolan, died Jan. 21 in Guilford. Arthur was born July 25, 1939 in Guilford to the late Frank and Marion Everett Dolan.

Mr. Dolan proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked as a police officer for the Town of Guilford for more than 26 years before retiring as Lieutenant. After retirement he went to work for Dolan Brothers Shellfish, a family-owned business.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, Jan. 25 at 10 a.m. at St. George Church, 33 Whitfield St, Guilford. Burial will be held privately. Friends may call Friday, Jan. 24 from 4 – 8 p.m. at The Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford.
