Charles Walter Munson, 91, of North Haven, husband of the late Laura Mae Bazarian Munson, died Jan. 21 at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford. Charles was born Dec. 19, 1922 in Waterbury to the late Walter Stanley and Jane Bryan Munson. Charles served his country faithfully in the Army Air Force during World War II in Italy. He worked a variety of jobs before his 30-year tenure at Pratt & Whitney.

He is survived by his children Wayne Munson and Beatrice Manning, Lee Munson and Ellen Isley, and Leslie Munson and his wife Stacey.

Funeral services with full military honors will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 25 at 4 p.m. at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Family and friends may call from 2 p.m. until time of the service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
