Pauline Nevins, 67, of Chester, and formerly of Lincoln, Rhode Island, passed away unexpectedly, peacefully, and surrounded with the profound love of her family. She left behind her husband and soulmate of 42 years, Vincent, and only daughter and best friend Gretchen.

She retired from the L.C. Doane Company in Essex after 19 years of service, and was a member of Chester Hose Company Auxiliary, where she served as president for one year.

She was predeceased by her parents Lillian and Edward Malz, Sr., and her oldest brother Edward Malz, Jr. She also leaves behind two sisters, Elizabeth Nunes and Frances Kenny, and youngest brother John Malz, all of Lincoln, Rhode Island.

Her memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday, Jan. 30 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, Middlesex Turnpike, Chester. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
