    Tyler Weatherston Otto, 28, Guilford

Tyler Weatherston Otto, 28, of Guilford, passed away suddenly on Jan. 24. Tyler leaves behind his beloved parents Darlene Hacku Otto and John Otto, and his brother Jonathan, all of Guilford. Tyler was deeply loved by many cousins, aunts, uncles, and a large circle of very close friends. Tyler was a caring person who would drop whatever he was doing when a friend needed help. Tyler loved his sailing adventures, music, and life outdoors when taking long hikes with his dog Maya.

Tyler was born on May 17, 1985, graduated from Guilford High School in 2004, and attended Berklee College of Music in Boston. Tyler was a gifted musician and a hard-working carpenter’s apprentice. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held Jan. 30 at the First Congregational Church, Guilford. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Faulkner’s Light Brigade or the Guilford Land Conservation Trust, for care of the Westwood Trails where he hiked so often. The Hawley Lincoln Memorial, 1315 Boston Post Rd., Guilford, is in charge of arrangements.
