Anna Bernardo Calcano, of North Haven, formerly of East Haven, died Feb. 20 at Branford Hills Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Louis Calcano. Mrs. Calcano was born April 12, 1930 in New Haven, daughter of the late Ralph and Angelina Parente Bernardo.  She worked as a seamstress before retiring.

She is the mother of Mary Ann Calcano-Keeney of East Haven and Joseph Calcano of North Haven; grandmother of Carly Calcano of North Haven; and sister of Andrew Bernardo of New York, New York.  She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Bernardo and a sister, Rae Benevento.

Her funeral will leave from the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford, Monday, Feb. 24 at 8:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian burial at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Church, Branford. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven.
