Henrietta Jane Kulisch, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at the Aurora Senior Living Facility in Cromwell, CT where she had resided since 2006.  She was born a twin in New Haven, CT on March 19, 1938, daughter to the late Henry Otto and Katherine Mettler Kulisch, Sr.

Henrietta was a long time resident of North  Madison until 1994 when she moved to Jensen’s Mobile Home Park in Killingworth until 2004.  She then resided at Essex Village, Essex until the fall of 2006.

She was a graduate of Hand High School in Madison, class of 1956.  She went on to Nursing School to become a LPN and worked private duty cases until she retired in the early 70’s.

She was an active lifetime member of the Madison Grange, before they folded in 2004.  She was also a Junior Deputy of the Connecticut State Grange.  Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her twin brother Henry O. Kulisch Jr.  She leaves her sister-in-law Barbara C. Kulisch; cousins Lanie (Roy) Handy of Guilford; Ted (Cathy) Rahmann of North Madison; Carlene Kulisch of South Carolina; Donald (Judy) Kulisch of Clinton, along with several nieces and nephews.
