Charlotte A. Hart 84, of East Haven, passed away March 28, 2014, at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born September 20, 1929, in Bridgeport, Connecticut to the late Frederick and Mary (McLaughlin) Simmons.

She is survived by three children: Charlene DeBlasi and husband Brian of Wallingford, and twins Joyce Streeter of East Haven and John Hart of Florida. Charlotte is also survived by nine grandchildren: Raymond Zona, Carrie Zona, Thomas Streeter II, Joseph Streeter, John Hart, Brian Hart, Michael Zona, Sara Hart, David DeBlasi and six great grandchildren.

Charlotte enjoyed playing bingo, Wii, and spending time with her friends at the Orchard House in Branford and East Haven Senior Center.

Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. on April 3, 2014, in First and Wesley United Methodist Church, 89 Center Street, West Haven. Burial will follow at East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven. Funeral services are in the care of Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
