Salvatore Baldino, Jr., 90, of Prospect Pl. Ext., East Haven, died on April 1. He was the husband of the late Italia Mautone Baldino. Mr. Baldino was born in New Haven on September 2, 1923, to the late Salvatore and Carmella Capucci Baldino.

He worked at Sperry and Barnes for more than 20 years until its closing. He also worked for Perri Sausage Company for more than 25 years until finally retiring from the meat-cutting business in 1988. He and his wife loved to travel, especially to their favorite destination, Salerno, Italy.

He is survived by two sons: John and his wife Deborah Baldino of Guilford, and Angelo Baldino of East Haven; and 2 granddaughters and 1 grandson. He was predeceased by a sister Roma Corvi and a brother Angelo Baldino.

A funeral Mass was held at St. Vincent dePaul Church April 5. Burial was in East Lawn Cemetery. Funeral services were handled by East Haven Memorial Funeral Home, 425 Main St., East Haven, 203-467-1708.
