    Albert W. DeCozio, 83, Old Saybrook

    Albert W. DeCozio, 83, of Old Saybrook, husband of Ann (Crane) DeCozio, died March 9. He was born in Hartford, son of the late John and Carmela (Guzzo) DeCozio.

    He attended St. Patrick’s School and Weaver High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army in the Korean War. Prior to his retirement, Albert worked for several pharmaceutical companies in the Newington area for 44 years. He moved to Old Saybrook in 1996, where he became a member of the Estuary Senior Center, a watercolor artist, pool player, and poker player. He was a third-degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

    Besides his wife, he is survived by a brother John DeCozio and his wife Ruth of Naples, Florida; a brother-in-law John Crane and his wife Hollys of North Canton; and a sister-in-law Mary DeCozio of Pennsylvania. He was predeceased by his brother Michael and his sisters Philomena DeVita and Mary DeCozio.

    A Mass of Christian burial was held at LaSalette Chapel, Hartford, on March 14, followed by burial with military honors in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery. The Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, Wethersfield, was in charge of arrangements.
