Marvin King, 83, of East Haven, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Aug. 1 at Talmadge Park in East Haven.

He is preceded in death by his wife Mary (Kubicza) King and four brothers, William, Ray "Mickey," George, and Jimmy King. Marvin is survived by his son, Francis King (Karen Ferone King) of East Haven; his grandchildren, John King and Maribeth King; his sister, Margaret King; and a sister-in-law, Lorraine King.

The family received friends on Aug. 5 at the Clancy Funeral Home, East Haven. The funeral procession left Clancy Funeral Home on Aug. 6 for a Mass of Christian burial in Our Lady of Pompeii Church, East Haven; committal followed at St. Lawrence Cemetery.

Marvin was a loving husband, father, and grandfather; he will be missed by all.
