Gales Ferry — Mystic Valley Hunt Club, Inc., held a rated show series award for all of the 11 rated hunt seat shows held at the farm this year.

Starting in January and running through November, riders vied for points in 12 different divisions. Results are as follows:

Southeastern CT IEA

Simsbury — The Southeastern Connecticut IEA horseback riding team competed Nov. 6 at Ethel Walker School, competing against eight other teams from the state. Southeastern Connecticut, coached by Sally Hinkle Russell, was reserve high point team.

Southbury — Shoreline Gymnastics began the 2010-11 season at the Turkey Tumble Invitational on Nov. 13-14, with 39 gymnasts competing.

Level 9 gymnasts took home the team trophy, led by all-around champion Katie Frese. Along with first place in the all-around (36.200), Frese won vault (9.600), bars (9.250) and beam (9.350.) Megan McNeil came in second in the all-around with 34.000, followed by Montara Tomasetti (33.100) and Samantha Lemire (30.260).

In Level 8, Olivia Shropshire scored 33.250 in the all-around. In the Level 7 11-and-under age group, Devyn King won vault with a 9.300 and placed second in the all-around with a score of 34.600. Mary Bolles placed fourth with 31.75. In the 12-and-over age group, Abby McGuirk took first in the all-around with 34.350 as well as vault with a 9.750. Katie Seegert took first on beam with a 9.200 and second in the all-around with 34.200. Morgan Staehle was third in the all-around with 34.050. Kylie McCarthy won bars with an 8.200 and placed fourth all-around with 33.100. Katrice Angier scored 32.000.

In Level 6, Kate Ryan won beam with 9.000, but was unable to complete the meet. Tehya Cerase scored 33.975, followed by Emma Katko, 33.050 and Daria Maziotti, 32.750. In Level 5, Erin Naclerio won vault with a 9.350 and scored 35.950 in the all-around, followed by Alexandra Bishop (31.450) and Addison Marchese (29.200). In Level 4, Elizabeth Cravinho placed first in beam (8.950) and floor (9.150) and won the all-around with 36.350. Briana Yepes scored 35.150, followed by Haley Smith, 34.900; Saige Deveau, 33.750; Maggie Maselli, 30.800; Megan Kapij, 29.200 and Megan Cravinho, 28.650.

The Prep Op Intermediate team was led by Rebecca Anderson, who placed first on bars (9.100) and beam (8.850) and won the all-around with 36.000. Lauren LaChapelle scored 34.550, Caroline Crowell, 33.625; Camille Logiudice, 33.600; Sydney Chomicz, 33.475 and Mayana Holland, 33.250. Prep Op Novice Sarah Cartelli won vault (9.425) and beam (9.200) and the all-around with a score of 36.225. Meg Lavin scored 35.900 followed by Anastasia Muckle 34.650 and Isabella Donohue, 34.550.
