    The Connecticut Sun held off the Seattle Storm 88-83 Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Mohegan Sun Arena to clinch a spot in the playoffs.

    Prior to the game the Sun honored former Sun player Briann January, and league legend, and UConn alum, Sue Bird, both of whom are retiring at the end of this season.
