POLICE: WOMAN TRIED TO CASH STOLEN CHIPS

Mohegan - A Massachusetts woman was arrested at Mohegan Sun Tuesday morning for stealing chips from a gaming table.

Angel Smith-Green, 38, of Dorchester, Mass., was charged with fourth-degree larceny.

She allegedly grabbed two $500 gaming chips from a table game in the Earth Casino and tried to cash them, police said.

Tribal police and state police detectives found Smith-Green and arrested her.

She was held on $500 bond and is due in Norwich Superior Court today.
