Man walks off wit $760 in dental products in Old Lyme

Old Lyme - Police are looking for a white male they said stole about $760 worth of dental and hygiene products including Crest Whitestrips, battery-operated toothbrushes and razors from the Rite Aid Pharmacy in the Old Lyme Shopping Center on Halls Road around 3:40 p.m. Thursday.

The suspect was wearing a white T-shirt, white shorts, sneakers and a red baseball cap with a white Yankees logo, according to a photo from a surveillance video provided by Old Lyme Police Officer Thomas Heinssen. The suspect was in the pharmacy for less than a minute before he walked out with a blue shopping basket and fled in a white, two-door compact car driven by another white male in a baseball cap, Heinssen said.
