13-year-old transported by Life Star after dirt bike crash

Stonington – A 13-year-old boy is being transported to a hospital by Life Star helicopter after he was injured in an off-road dirt bike crash this evening.

Police said the accident occurred around 7 p.m. in the area of 280-283 North Anguilla Road. The boy was riding in a large field, police said. The helicopter was preparing to land in the field around 7:20 p.m.

No information was available about the boy's injuries.
