Man arrested after police said they found drugs in his home

    Antonio Kennedy

Norwich — Police on Monday night executed a drug search warrant at a home at 23 Williams St. and arrested a man there after they received numerous complaints from residents about drug dealing at the residence.

Antonio Kennedy, 30, of 23 Williams St., Apt. 1, was charged with two counts of sale of marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of marijuana within 1,500 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said it was the third time since December 2011 that they have been at the home. Kennedy already has a pending drug case from an earlier arrest in April.

Police said they seized marijuana, a digital scale, packaging materials and $150.

They also discovered parts for a 30 caliber rifle hidden in various locations inside the home. The serial number for the rifle was removed and ammunition for the weapon was also found.

Kennedy is being held on a $150,000 cash bond, pending his arraignment today in Norwich Superior Court.
