Police look for car after shots fired near Colman Street

New London – New London police have put out a "be on the lookout" alert to area police departments after a shooting incident in the area of Colman Street and Riozzi Court.

The vehicle is described as a large white car with a blue top, a flat tire and a missing wheel cover. Police are unsure of the number of occupants, whether someone is armed or if anyone is injured inside the vehicle.

Police responded to the Colman Street area around 8:40 p.m. Wednesday for reports of shots fired.
