Norwich — After a four-month investigation, police arrested Wednesday a local man who they say was selling crack cocaine in and around the Norwich area.

Jean E. Joseph, 29, of 51 Freeman Ave., was charged with two counts of sale of crack cocaine and possession of crack cocaine.

Police said at about 9:18 a.m. members of the detective division arrested him after they found him walking on Freeman Avenue. At the time of his arrest, police recovered a small amount of crack cocaine and seized more than $300 in cash.

Joseph was held on a $25,000 bond, pending his arraignment Wednesday in Norwich Superior Court.
