Norwich traffic restrictions set for Election Day

Norwich — Traffic on Stanton Avenue on Tuesday will be limited to one way due to the heavy volume of voters expected at Bishop School, police said Friday.

Bishop School is the voting location for residents of District 5, and parking for voters is accessed from Stanton Avenue. Under normal conditions, police said, the avenue allows for two-way traffic between Hamilton Avenue and East Main Street.

On Tuesday, Stanton Avenue will only be accessible running one way from East Main Street and exiting out onto Hamilton Avenue.

Bishop School is located on 526 E. Main St.
