Man injured in fall from ladder while trimming trees

Stonington — A 50-year-old man was taken to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence by Life Star helicopter late Saturday afternoon after he fell off a ladder while trimming trees.

Police said the man, a contractor working at a home at 30 Montauk Ave., fell about 15 feet and was unconscious at the time he was transported. The man's name and condition was unavailable Saturday evening.
