Five taken to hospital in wake of Norwich crash

Norwich - Five people were taken to the hospital following a two-car crash this afternoon on Boswell Avenue.

The crash, in which one vehicle rolled, occurred at 12:18 p.m. A portion of the road was temporarily closed while emergency crews attended to the passengers.

Norwich police responded with the city fire department and crews from American Ambulance. The occupants were taken to The William W. Backus Hospital for what police described as minor injuries.

Police said the investigation into the crash is ongoing. No further details were available.
