    Norwich man arrested for exposing himself to student at bus stop

    Norwich — Police said they arrested a local man this morning for exposing himself to a high school student as she walked to her bus stop on Prospect Street.

    Alfred L. Lamarche, 58, of 30 Warren St., was charged with two counts of public indecency. He is a former police officer in Ledyard and Jewett City.

    Police said when they responded to the scene, the girl said the man had also exposed himself to her on Friday as she walked to her bus stop.

    The victim gave police a description of Lamarche along with a description of the car that he was driving.

    As a result of an investigation by Patrol Officer Steven Deloreto and with the assistance of dispatcher Jarrell Roberts, Lamarche was found at his residence.

    Police said Lamarche was scheduled to be presented today in Norwich Superior Court for arraignment.
