Stonington — Police report that they handed out 102 infractions for failure to wear a seat belt during the recent Click It or Ticket enforcement campaign from May 20 to June 2.

In addition, police cited 23 motorists for driving while using a cellphone and issued 26 other motor vehicle violations.

Police said they found a 90 percent seat belt compliance rate when they conducted a brief survey after the campaign ended.
