UPDATED: Victim identified in fatal Westerly motorcycle accident

Westerly -- A Charlestown, R.I., man died early this morning in a motorcycle accident on Shore Road, police said.

Police said it appears Joshua Weber, 25, was traveling north on Maplewood Drive, failed to stop at the intersection with Shore Road, and struck a stone wall at about 1:20 a.m.

The accident remains under investigation. Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the accident or has any information regarding the accident to call the Westerly Police Department, 401-596-2022.
