Montville — A car versus motorcycle accident on Interstate 395 north between Exits 79 and 79A had closed that portion of the highway for about two hours this morning.

Police said the accident happened directly in front of the Troop E barracks. Cars had to be detoured through the barrack's parking lot.

At least one serious injury was reported, police said. The accident was reported at about 7:18 a.m.
