Police investigate snatch and grab at Waterford bank

Waterford – Police are searching for a suspect in a robbery late Thursday of a victim making a night deposit of cash at the Bank of America branch at 68 Boston Post Road.
The robbery occurred at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday when a person making a deposit from a local business was robbed by a masked man. Police said the victim was not injured and no weapon was involved. The robber made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Waterford police called in New London's K-9 unit to help investigate but did not catch the suspect, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
