Ledyard — Police are investigating a burglary that occurred Monday at a Parkwood Drive residence in the Gales Ferry section of town.

Police said at about 6:30 p.m. they were contacted by a resident who notified them of the burglary.

A Ledyard police dog was used to find a possible suspect and any potential evidence. The investigation determined that the home was entered between 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. through a rear window. Police said jewelry and a computer were taken.
