Norwich man suffers laceration in apparent fight

Norwich – A Norwich man was hospitalized this morning after sustaining face and wrist injuries from what police said appeared to be a fight between roommates on Oak Street.
Police suspect alcohol was involved.
The victim called 911 shortly after 8 a.m. Tuesday and police arrived on Oak Street to find the unidentified man outside bleeding from a face injury and a wrist laceration. Police said they are still investigating what caused the laceration.
The man was taken for treatment of non-life threatening injuries to The William W. Backus Hospital.
Police said investigation continues and arrests are expected.
