    Hartford man arrested in Lebanon on drug and gun charges

    Lebanon - A state police trooper working a roving DUI patrol in Lebanon on Sunday arrested a Hartford man who police said was driving under the influence with a loaded gun and drugs packaged for sales.

    State police said a trooper from Troop K in Colchester stopped a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Brandon M. Henry of Hartford at 8:39 p.m. for speeding on Route 2 east, near Exit 22 in Lebanon.

    A search of the vehicle, police said, turned up a loaded 45-caliber handgun in the glove box and several baggies of marijuana packaged for sale. Henry is a convicted felon.

    Henry was charged with speeding, driving with a suspended license or registration, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, illegal sale of a controlled substance, possession of less than ½ ounce of marijuana, carrying a pistol or revolver without a permit, carrying a firearm while under the influence of liquor or drugs and criminal possession of a pistol or revolver.

    Henry was released on a $25,000 bond and expected to appear Jan. 9 at Norwich Superior Court.
