Throughout this week and weekend, State Police will have extra troopers from Troop F - Westbrook barracks on patrol to conduct “aggressive enforcement” of drunken, distracted and aggressive driving, the State Police announced.

The troopers, using marked and unmarked cruisers, also will be strictly enforcing the state’s seatbelt laws. The extra troopers will be assigned throughout the Troop F area, including Lyme, Old Lyme and Old Saybrook.
