    UPDATED: State police investigate stabbing in Preston

    Connecticut State Police, Preston City and Poquetanuck EMS and American Ambulance personnel carry one of two victims of a double stabbing at 38A Route 2A in Poquetanuck to a waiting ambulance Friday. Two men were transported to The William W. Backus Hospital for evaluation.

    Preston — State police were on Friday afternoon at the scene of an incident at a house on Route 2A in which two men were stabbed.

    The men did not suffer life-threatening injuries in what appeared to be a domestic incident, according to state police. They are not looking for any additional suspects, police said.

    Paramedics from American Ambulance accompanied the two patients to The William W. Backus Hospital. Ambulances from Preston City and Poquetanuck departments also responded.

    The house, a duplex, is at 38A Route 2A. No further information was available Friday.
