Norwich man faces crack, steroid possession charges

Norwich - City police on Friday charged a Norwich man who they said was in possession of crack cocaine and steroids.

Darryl Henry, 24, of 18 Hammond Ave., second floor, was arrested with the assistance of state police emergency services unit and statewide narcotics task force.

Along with a small amount of crack cocaine and steroids, police said they seized drug paraphernalia and more than $1,000 cash.

Henry is charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of steroids, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license. Held in lieu of a $50,000 bond, Henry is due to appear Feb. 18 in Norwich Superior Court.
