Norwich police arrest six in prostitution sting
Norwich — Police on Wednesday charged six women with prostitution during an undercover operation held in the city.
The following were charged with prostitution: Shannon Bialowas, 20, of Willimantic; Ashley Serrano, 27, of Willimantic; Jennifer Hall, 25, of 73 Hempstead St., New London; YuleYsi Corcino, 19, of Providence, R.I.; Crystal Choquette, 29, of Warwick, R.I.; and Jamilee Jones, 25, of Solvay, N.Y.
Police said the investigation was part of a Internet-based operation targeting prostitution in the Norwich area.
Each of the women were released on a $5,000 bond and are scheduled to appear in Norwich Superior Court on Oct. 9.
