Clinton woman killed in crash that closed I-95 south Sunday

Clinton — A Clinton woman died Sunday night when the car she was a passenger in swerved for an unknown reason and struck the median barrier on Interstate 95 south near Exit 64, state police said.
Police said 48-year-old Angela M. Ford was not wearing a seat belt when the 1978 Jeep CJ7 swerved and rolled over.
The driver, 48-year-old Kyle Francis Ford, was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital with minor injuries.
Police closed the highway for about 2½ hours to investigate the crash, the state Department of Transportation said.
