Colchester — The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has ruled the death of “Jo-Jo” Kolodnicki Jr., a Norwich mail carrier and self-taught artist active in the Norwich arts scene, a homicide.
An autopsy revealed Kolodnicki died of a stab wound to the torso. Police said Kolodnicki sustained wounds in a stabbing that occurred outside a Colchester apartment complex on Tuesday.
State police have charged 38-year-old Elmar Baker of 55 Renee Drive, Apt. 4, Colchester, with murder in Kolodnicki’s death. Baker remains held in lieu of a $1 million bond and is due to appear Nov. 19 in New London Superior Court.
