New London police investigate disturbance, gunfire
New London — Police are investigating a report of a disturbance and gunshots fired early Saturday in the area of Ocean and Lee avenues.
Police responded to the area at 12:29 a.m. and found spent shell casings, an indication of bullets having been fired. The scene was secured and processed for evidence. Police also performed an area canvass.
No injuries were reported. Police continue to investigate but said they do not believe the incident was a random act.
