Two injured in motorcycle crash in New London

New London - Two people were injured on Sunday in an accident involving a motorcycle and a vehicle on Colman Street, at Cedar Grove Avenue.

The accident was reported at 1:09 p.m. The two occupants of the motorcycle were taken by ambulance to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, police said. The operator of the vehicle involved in the crash was not injured. Police did not release the names of the individuals involved.

The accident remains under investigation. Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is encouraged to contact the New London Police Department Uniformed Services Division at 860-447-5269, ext 0.
