Norwich ― One person suffered minor injuries Sunday night in a home invasion at an apartment on Laurel Hill Avenue, police said.

At 9 p.m. Sunday, police said a 911 caller reported a disturbance at an apartment located in the area of Laurel Hill and Garfield avenues. Police did not release a specific address.

Police said they determined a home invasion had occurred and the victim suffered minor, non-life threatening injuries. Information gathered at the scene indicates this was a targeted incident and there is no threat to the public, police said.
